A Look Around the World
I have been fortunate enough to immerse myself in so many different cultures throughout my life. This is something that has shaped my sense of self and provided me with perspective.
Here is a photo of the time I explored Paris with my Best friend Heidi. We saw all of the iconic sights, made friends in new places, and took a million pictures!
My Solo Month in Spain!
During the Summer of 2023, I traveled to Spain for one month and took Spanish classes at a local school. I lived in an apartment with other students in the center of Madrid! I traveled to other parts of Spain such as Valencia, Malaga, and Marbella as well as other countries. I learned so much about the beautiful culture and food but most importantly, I learned independence. I came out of this experience a more confident version of myself with the added bonus of proficient Spanish!
Dominican Republic
Fun fact: I am 100% Dominican! My parents immigrated to the United States when they were 18 years old and began a new life in Northern New Jersey. We go to the Dominican Republic every year to visit our family that still lives there and always make sure to go on fun excursions like this one!
